Booking and payment
Please book and pay for your classes on the my Gym Catch Page Card payments are securely accepted on the Gym Catch software.
Classes must be paid for in advance.
No cash is accepted.
Cancellation / Absences
As a small business, I am unable to offer cancellation refunds. However, if you have booked a class and cannot attend if you cancel your place 24 hours before the start of the class, the class will be credited back to your account. Please ensure you check your class pass expiry date as once the pass expires the class credits will not be able to be used.
Class passes cannot be extended without a medical note.
Before, during, and after class.
Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your class.
Tuesday evening students - I lock the doors at 6:30pm for security reasons, so please ensure you text me if you are running late. If you are later than 6:30pm I’m afraid the door will be locked.
Kids Yoga Class Terms and Conditions
1. Registration and Payment
Course Fee: The total fee for the 6-week yoga class block booking is £48. This fee includes all materials, including worksheets etc.
Registration: To secure a spot in the course, full payment must be made at the time of registration. Spaces are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Please book your child’s place here.
Confirmation: Upon receiving your payment, a confirmation email will be sent with details of the course schedule and location.
No Individual Class Bookings: The course is designed as a complete 6-week experience, and individual classes cannot be booked separately.
No Refunds: Please note that all payments are non-refundable. This policy applies even in the case of missed classes.
2. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation by Organiser: In the unlikely event that the course is cancelled by the organiser due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be provided.
Missed Classes: No refunds or make-up classes will be offered for missed sessions. However, materials from missed classes will be provided to ensure your child stays on track.
3. Participant Requirements
Age Range: This course is designed for children aged 5-12 years. Please ensure your child meets this age requirement before registering.
Behavioural Expectations: To maintain a positive and safe environment, children are expected to participate respectfully and follow the instructor’s guidance. Disruptive behaviour may result in dismissal from the course without a refund.
Health and Wellness: Please inform us of any physical, emotional, or medical conditions your child has that may affect their participation in the course. Please ensure you complete the child survey when booking. This information will help us provide the best possible experience for your child.
4. Parental Consent and Responsibility
Consent: By registering your child for this course, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these terms and conditions, and that you give your consent for your child to participate in the yoga sessions and related activities.
Photography/Video: We may occasionally take photos or videos during the course for promotional purposes. If you do not wish for your child to be photographed or recorded, please notify us in writing before the course begins.
Parent Waiting Policy: For the safety and focus of all participants, the door to the class will be locked during the session. Parents are kindly asked to wait outside the classroom and arrive promptly for drop-off and pick-up.
5. Liability
Waiver: By participating in this course, you acknowledge that yoga involves physical activity, and there is a risk of injury. You agree to release the organiser and instructor from any liability for any injury, loss, or damage sustained by your child during the course, except in cases of proven negligence.
Supervision: Children will be supervised during the course, but the organiser is not responsible for your child outside of scheduled class times. Please ensure timely drop-off and pick-up.
Safety Section
1. Physical Safety
Yoga Practice: All yoga poses and activities will be age-appropriate and designed to suit the abilities of children aged 5-12. The instructor will provide clear instructions and modifications as needed to ensure the safety of all participants.
Injuries: If your child has any pre-existing injuries or medical conditions (e.g., asthma, allergies, joint issues), please inform the instructor prior to the first class. This will help us tailor the activities to ensure your child’s safety.
Attire: Please ensure your child wears comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement. Bare feet or non-slip socks are recommended to prevent slipping. Jewellery and other accessories should be removed to avoid accidents.
2. Emotional and Psychological Safety
Supportive Environment: The course is designed to be a safe and nurturing space for children to express themselves and explore yoga. The instructor will encourage positive interactions and ensure that all children feel included and respected.
Confidentiality: Any personal information shared by parents or children during the course (e.g., health conditions, emotional concerns) will be kept confidential and used solely for the purpose of enhancing the child’s experience and safety.
3. Emergency Procedures
First Aid: The instructor is trained in basic first aid and will have a first aid kit on hand during all sessions. In the event of an injury, appropriate first aid will be administered, and parents will be notified immediately.
Emergency Contact Information: Please provide accurate emergency contact information upon registration. In the event of a more serious emergency, we will contact you or your designated emergency contact immediately.
Evacuation Procedures: The venue will have clearly marked emergency exits, and the instructor will familiarize the children with these procedures in case of an emergency evacuation.
