About me

Hi. I’m Zoe. I would like to teach yOUR CHILD YOGA, BREATHING AND MINDFULNESS

I am a passionate yoga educator specialising in both adult and children's yoga. With a 200-hour certification in Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow for adults, coupled with qualifications as a kids' yoga teacher for ages 4-18, I bring a wealth of experience and dedication to my practice.

My journey with yoga began at the age of 12 when I received Geri Halliwell's yoga VHS (showing my age!) and practiced every morning before school. This ignited a lifelong devotion to the practice. After experiencing firsthand the transformative power of yoga in overcoming burnout, stress, grief, and depression, I embarked on a mission to share this gift with others. In 2019, I transitioned from a devoted practitioner to a certified yoga teacher, marking a pivotal moment in my life's purpose.

Driven by an unwavering commitment to supporting children and teenagers in their mental health journeys, I hold a Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Children and Young People’s Mental Health. My extensive experience includes teaching thousands of children in various settings, including schools, nurseries, family yoga workshops, and yoga studios. My dedication to reaching even more young minds led me to establish a unique membership platform, offering a curated yoga toolkit tailored specifically for children and teens.

Drawing from personal experience as a parent to two children who have navigated worries and anxiety, I understand the profound impact of yoga tools in fostering resilience and well-being. Beyond my teaching endeavors, I actively contribute to my community through weekly adult yoga classes in my hometown of Leeds, cherishing the sense of unity and connection that yoga fosters.

When I'm not teaching or practicing yoga, you'll find me on holiday, eagerly planning my next adventure with my loving husband and two children, and sometimes my amazing parents. Holidays are sacred family time for me, offering the opportunity to switch off, deepen my own personal yoga practice, and revel in the joy of swimming in the sea.

In addition to my teaching commitments, I have been recognized for my expertise, having been featured in prominent publications such as The Times, Yorkshire Evening Post, Stylist Magazine, and BBC Radio Leeds.

In my spare time, I am working on a very special kids' mental health podcast where I will engage with experts to provide invaluable insights, tips, and strategies for supportive parenting.

With boundless enthusiasm and a deep-rooted belief in the transformative power of yoga, I continue to inspire and empower individuals of all ages on their journey to holistic well-being.
